METEOR 2025: Conference of Best Practices

Vi har invitert toneangivende profesjonelle aktører i scenekunstfeltet til å dele utvalgte kuratoriske praksiser. Hvert bidrag er på 10 minutter, og vi får innsikt i rundt 10 ulike praksiser i løpet av dagen. I etterkant av konferansen samler vi alle bidragene og produserer en fanzine. Vi legger opp til at en konferanse om bestepraksiser finner sted som fast innslag på våre festivaler i årene framover. Materialet skal organiseres og resultere i en håndbok i kuratoriske praksiser.

På BIT sine forestillinger kan du selv bestemme hva du vil og kan betale. Betalingssystemet kaller vi ‘Betal det du kan’, og bygger på tillit til at du setter pris på det vi viser. Vi ønsker at alle skal kunne gå på forestilling uansett økonomisk situasjon. Billettsystemet vårt lar hver enkelt velge hva som passer dem og deres økonomi best akkurat nå. Det samme gjelder METEOR festivalpass.

BERGEN INTERNASJONALE TEATER presenterer og co-produserer norsk og internasjonal scenekunst, med vekt på prosjekter som stimulerer til samarbeid over landegrensene og arbeid på tvers av kunstneriske sjangre. I 2026 flytter BIT inn i vårt nye hjem i Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus.

We have invited leading professionals in the performing arts field to share selected curatorial practices. Each contribution is 10 minutes long, and we will gain insight into around 10 different practices during the day. Following the conference, we will collect all the contributions and produce a fanzine. We plan to make a conference on best practices a regular feature at our festivals in the years to come. The material will be organized and result in a handbook of curatorial practices.
